Apart from hungary and slovenia all remaining 53 uefa member national teams entered the qualifying competition.

Uefa under 21. Group 1 of the 2021 uefa european under 21 championship qualifying competition consists of six teams. The uefa european under 21 championship is a biennial football competition contested by the european men s under 21 national teams of the member associations of uefa. Initially 12 teams were to play in the tournament however on 6 february 2019 uefa s executive committee increased this number to 16.
